Welcome!
« on: April 12, 2006, 11:40 PM »
Welcome to the new RR-Forum!

We hope you will be happy here.  Unlike RR-Folk and other dog forums, posts to RR-Forum are immediately visible.  Conversations are carried on in continuous threads, and you can use things like Bold, smiley faces  :), and different text sizes to enhance your message.  You can "subscribe" to a topic so that you receive email updates of responses and new posts on that thread.

You can also attach photos but please read how to do it in the FAQs area.

Best of all, you don't need to be able to access your email to see the latest at RR-Forum.  Just visit www.rr-forum.com

In other words, RR-Forum offers a whole lot that can't be done at other dog forums.

RR-forumis moderated and we do hope that our members will remain civil.  Posts that seem to generate a lot of complaints may be deleted, as will posts that are brought to our attention that are inappropriate for a public forum.  We also have a DEBATE board, but you must be an active member to view that board

We really hope that you enjoy this new Rhodesian Ridgeback Forum.

Hope to see you back soon!

Just joined.  Here's hoping this new format lends itself to less confusion on the part of readers and more participation on all subjects.  I'm looking forwarding to participating.

Absolutely wonderful.

Everyone at RR-folk knows me as Michelle C. but I use Rosebud on another dog forum group and I like the screenname and will use it here.

Is there any way to change the stars to paw-paws. And is there an angel smiley for my signature.

Being able to track a topic in one thread is wonderful. So many conversations can be active at the same time and it's so much easier to revive an old topic rather than re-hash it if it pertains to a newbie's question.

Really looking forward to the post's here.

Nothing makes a day more worth it than coming home to a pack of wagging RR's and their kisses......but watch out for those tails they'll get 'cha every time.

i think i may have inadverdantly smote some people (smited?). i didn't know what it meant (i've now read the post) and, as you can probably imagine, i was much more interested in what smoting ment over applauding- so i apologize to those smitten (?). it seems to be gone now but maybe it will reappear? interesting concept, but you can see how an idiot clicking around a new form might cause some damage...soooorrrryyy

Hey, Sarah...watch it...I have been known to delete a post...because i thought my mailbox was going to fill up????  I am embarassed to say I am the KEEPER of the site.  Thank my lucky stars for the Admins and Site Guides for walking along behind me and clearing up my oops!  I am hoping the Positive Reinforcement via my Outstanding Team will mold the behavior that is befitting a Global Admin.  Ahahahahaah!   ;) :D ;D

KEEPER  (maybe...but only if I get out of General Obedience Class)

My goodness...don't you ever sleep??? Several days .....?
Thanks for the nice perk...but without all the messages from the members and the great work of the Kennel Management and Admin...this would certainly backslide

Oh trust me my great Keeper, I get my share of sleep, when the dogs let me.  You are welcome for the nice perks, and trust me I realize this is not a one person show.  I am appriciative to all involved that have brought this forum to life and to all that help keep it that way.  I hope we all have many years together.

Hi All,  Great site, been looking for a well balanced and informed RR site for ages.  Really wish I'd discovered this before we got our boy Blaze as my wife (a dog newbie :o)  had so many questions about behaviour and training before she would allow us to share our family with a Ridgie!

Hi !

I'm new to the forum and have tried to re-size and upload pictures, but they are still rejected. I also used photobucket but I'm still getting the same results. My account on photobucket is rhodesianridgebackd and attached is a link. Please, do you have any suggestions? Thanks. George

George-- look to the right of the individual photo that you want to post for the sharing code that starts with [IMG
Copy it and paste it in your message. Check by clicking preview.

Now take more pictures and post them in the photo gallery.

BTW, Dex is a good looking puppy.
