Just a few pics I took of Kit at the park today. I can't believe how fast he's still growing, seems like he gets a inch taller everyday. I won't post all of the pictures here but I'll put links for the rest of them if you want to look at them. I took some videos too but don't have the time to upload them right now. I'll post a link to my youtube account once I have. Hope you Enjoy!

He is sooo cute! I'll be honest, when I saw my first liver it was like, What the?? But the more I have seen the more I really love them! My daughter too. Everytime she sees pics of one, she says, "mom, can our next one be a liver?"

Very nice dog!

He is stunning. I really enjoy looking at Livers and he has such a sharp look about him. He is in fantastic shape!!! I would love a liver boy in the future

I have heard there is something extra special about them!

I have to admit that I am partial to livers... always have been and I don't really know why... I would LOVE to get him a liver sister sometime soon... Anna's begging me for a Great Dane... but I think i can talk her into another RR

On a side note, what kind of camera did you use to take them? I'm in the market for a new one. Might be looking into a SLR. I'm just assuming thats what you used, since they came out so nice. Maybe send me a message so I don't take over your post.

Love the pictures- especially the last one of Kit snoozing - I am partial to the shots where our RR's are simply enjoying life

Wait - I too want to know what camera you use - my next gift to myself is going to be a camera - my crappy little digital is ruining all these awesome photo ops of Lucy!

I use a Nikon D50 Digital SLR. All of these pictures were taken with my 70-300mm Nikkor lens.

Nice photos! I'm going to upgrade my D40 soon to a D80 or whatever comes next.

Taking good pictures of the dogs is so much easier than taking good pictures of the kids. Dogs don't get nearly as annoyed.

Luke, I can not believe I just watched all 7 minutes and 13 seconds of that video..I like the editing job and boy was it funny! Its rare I can do anything these days 7 minutes in a row

Haha... I know! There's just something about watching a RR run that is so addicting. It's amazing how much ground they can cover in such a short time. Last week the weather was pretty crappy here so he didn't get to run much... I think he got it out of his system yesterday though... he's been content to just lay on the couch and sleep while I do schoolwork today, which is good because it's raining AGAIN!

Anna and I hit the beach at Smith Mountain Lake today because it was SOOOO nice! As usual with me it turned into a photo op... So i figured I'd post some of the pics

What a beautiful area! I'm jealous. We took the RR's to straight racing practice today but got rained and then snowed out. Only one run each and some had to do it in the rain. Hard when RR's melt when wet.

Looks like you guys had a great day! I won't tell my ridgies cause they will be jealous too!

I see he at least waded in the water. I can imagine it must have been chilly in that water. Loved the action shots of him on the beach as welkl as the face full of sand!

Keep putting up the pics. I don't think anyone ever gets tired of looking at Ridgebacks - at least I don't.

Awesome pictures!

Kit looks very good , very nice coat and he has beautifully shape!

Basha sure looks very similar in the head shape I think I can see the blood line in there!

I started to attnding practice runs ( Lure coursing , oval track etc.. ) and just start shutting pictures and this turned in to doing more photography, now I have been to 4 races and 2 Dog shows and shot over 9 .000 images! people asking me around about pictures, since I am only guy shutting pictures, so I started to do it as part time job for fun!

I shot with Canon 40D and 70-200m - 2.8 and that lens is what the magic in taking pictures in high speeds! Now I do whippets & Greyhounds at 40 m/hr speeds its sure lot of fun!
I am glad I found someone with same blood line & breeder on this forum.

Wow... So it's been like 2 or 3 weeks since I've even had the time of day to get on here for more then 2 minutes. Life has been crazy lately. Anyways, it's spring break and Anna and I managed to tear away and go camping for a few days this week so I thought I'd post some pics of Kit on the camping trip. He's beginning to fill out just a lil bit

Well, it's been forever since I've posted any pics of Kit so here are a few from last week if ya'll are curious how he's turning out. He's still quite the runner... and here I was thinking it was just his puppy energy

Apparently he's never going to outgrow his love of running around like a mad man. The first two pics are of a crow he almost caught. I think he caught it off guard... it didn't realize how fast he was coming until it was almost too late. Kit literally only missed it's tail feathers by inches.

Mom and Rachel (my sister) came and stayed with us this weekend while they were waiting for her lease to start and although kit loved having extra people around he wasn't too impressed with the idea of sharing HIS couch... He made quite a point to make it as uncomfortable as possible for anyone who dared sit. .. Right now he's happily enjoying a little nap now that they're gone
