That was Sasha!  Through and through!  If we'd leave during the day for more than 3 hours, she'd pee in our basement.  Yet she could sleep in bed for 15 hours!!

Obviously you have spent too much time around Ridgebacks:  Everything you look at gets related to FOOD!

Brenna, Sasha looks very sweet and very wise in those pictures!  :angel:  I am sorry for your loss.

Thank you all!  She was my beautiful girl and I haven't slept as well without her snuggling next to me.  It was a week ago tonight that we got to say goodbye.  I still can't believe she's gone.  At any minute, I expect to be barked at to be told I need to make room on the couch for her!

Wow, Isnt that just like a ridgeback!!! I mean mine wont lay under the covers, but they will dig them up into a ball. Even after I have made the bed. I think they think they are helping, because they look so pleased with themselves.

I know she will be missed. Your photos speak volumes of your relationship with her.

I am sorry for your loss ….

How quickly the time passes...when we are given unconditional love by another who is blind to our human faults and frailties.
God was wise when He gave us Dog. He gave us a 'mirror' to what we should be....loving, faithful, protective, funny, forgiving, graceful and giving without expecting something in return. Enjoying the simple pleasures of those around them and reveling in the sheer beauty of life itself.

Hope the coming days are gentle reminders of the memories you all shared. I believe that my spirit dogs are with me always and just out of my vision...never out of my heart.

You have my sincere condolences.

Estelita, I feel so sorry about your loss, too.  I know exactly how you must feel, and I'm sorry to tell you, but it will take a lot of time to even start getting over the loss of your girl.  For me it's been over a year and it still hurts soooo much!
