After searching and talking with many wonderful people, I had the opportunity to bring this little beauty home.

Her registered name will be Dimond Spring Valley's you had me at Merlot
We are trying to find a call name, but think we may consider Merlot or Stella...

So far, she has been a joy!

Hi Caroline,
I had talked with several people and was on a few lists watching them grow. Everyone had nice pups and litters, so this was a hard choice. I wanted to inform those who I had been talking with 1st so they could move forward with other buyers that they had in wait.

I just brought her home Monday, and my work schedule has been nuts

this week too. Never fails, I am always the busiest when I am trying to make plans for a road trip or a night out with the family LOL so I have not had much time to post.

She already goes to the door to potty and is sleeping well in her crate.

Zola thinks

Oh JOY! LOL but everyone and a while she starts to play with her and remembers she is not supposed to "like" the new pup, turns up her nose and walks away.

Haha, Carol All, you are not kidding - she is keeping me pretty busy and we are enjoying every moment with her while she is still little Pam.

I do beleive this little one is going to like to chase the bunny

She is looking sweet now curled up at my side, but earlier she learned how much fun it is to run around the house with file folders that I keep my work papers in

LOL The joys of having a new puppy!
Zola is warming up to her and I think by the end of the weekend, they will be causing a Rucus around the house together

Here is another from her day at the woods. Vince, Stella is 85% sweet and 15% Sassy. She is curious and inquisitive about new things, and never shy. She is also just a wee bit spoiled at this age, but learning what No means quickly responding nicely - with a look like that says, yeah butt, why not?

She loves games! always social with dogs and people of all kinds and affectionate ;-)

Well, the litter had a wine theme and it was a great play off words from the Jerry McGuire Movie. Merlot is one of my favorite wines, so it just seemed too perfect.

Dimond is her breeders kennel and SV is her sire's kennel

Thanks George and Marion, I also love her head and truly feel blessed to have both her and Zola in our lives. Stella makes us laugh so hard with her playful love me attitude and Zola is a complete sweet heart.

Marion, I had purchased a faster camera to get those "action" shots and hope to post more of her in all her glory soon. The weather and work have kept us on a dead run and photographing them, like your girl takes lots of pateince because when they are out side, they are Go, Go, Go! LOL

I have lots of action shots of their backsides! haha
Can't wait till Spring when we can get out and about with both of them and the camera with out layers of clothes....

Melissa, the best shots I take are usually with my cellphone when we are outside :p But their quality sucks/ Libs is always so curious when I have the camera that there will be dognose all over it D:
I guess she will never grow out of the puppy stage completely haha!

haha, I rarely use the cell phone camera (always try and leave the damned thing home when I am out with the dogs) But, the nose prints on the camera are frequent!
Especially when I kneel down to try and get a level shot.....

Oh well, at least they are so curious and playful and want to be SO involved in what I am doing

When I lay down on the carpet with her at home, she always creeps really close and puts her head on my back or belly and gives doggy kisses too! And I hear it from friends with their ridgies too.... Must be a typical thing

Marion, all my RR's are complete snuggle hounds.
My other sweet girl Zola is more a burrower and loves to curl up. Stella is a nudger and a flopper. 2 very different personalities, but both lovely and a joy to live with.

Yup, she is full grown and may fill in here and there now George. She is about 1.5" taller than zola and longer in body.
She actually has more blond highlights than Zola who is a darker red. They both have the most beautiful dark round eyes

As we close the year of showing and the calendar; I am proud to make a small announcement about Stella's progress in her 11 months of limited showing owner handled by myself every step of the way!

Stella has obtained 3 major wins, 2/2 pt wins and has only 1 single point to earn for her AKC CH Title.

Best of all, she has the most outgoing, loving personality with a true zest for life in everything she does and is a joy and pleasure to live with an be around!

We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and happy to have her and her sweet sister Zola as beloved family members!

Thanks for letting me gush a bit, it has been a wonderful year for Stella who is just 18 months and 1 week of age today
